The CMS6431 is a dedicated driver chip for brush motors. The transistors of this driver circuit are based on BCD process. The circuit has built-in multiple functions such as KEY detection, LDO, undervoltage protection, thermal shutdown and LDO overcurrent protection, which can effectively prevent the circuit from burning due to improper operation.
The CMS6431 supports zero standby power consumption. The internal circuitry is started by the KEY when the voltage is detected. It is then maintained by the signal EN, and once the signal EN is shut off for approximately 16ms, the circuitry re-enters standby mode.
> Zero standby power consumption
> Supply voltage operating range: 5.5V~33V
> Built-in over temperature protection
> Built-in undervoltage protection
> Built-in LDO output short-to-ground protection
> Built-in dead time of power transistors 60ns
> Built-in 5V LDO for 30mA continuous output capability
> Output drive capability +670mA/-780mA@21V
> The input and output are in phase. The input has a built-in pull-down resistor of 100K and the output has a built-in pull-down resistor of 10K.
> The bus voltage detects the sub-voltage of 1/10
