The CMS6163N is a driver IC which is designed using either a double-N channel VDMOS capacity transistor or bridge circuitry constructed by IGBT. This specified driver IC is of 3-phase mid-voltage grid, which can be implemented by DC-brushed/DC-unbrushed motors.
A CMS6163N is capable of controlling the high-side driver circuitry output(H0) & low-side driver circuitry output(L0) via its input.
Internally, a 200ns dead-time duration has been preset. As when the chip be outputting a dead-time duration exceeded the built-in dead-time duration, the practical dead-time is in fact the addition of the preset dead-time duration by the MCU and the built-in dead-time.
Moreover, the residing VCC, VBS power-down(UVLO) protection prevent the system activating the external power transistor while being in a low-voltage-drive mode.
