Recently, Guangdong Provincial Science and Technology Department announced the recognition of Cmsemicon as the “Guangdong Engineering Technology Research Center of the year 2021”.

It is said that Guangdong Province Engineering Technology Research Center is an enterprise research institute selected and recognized by the Guangdong Provincial Department of Science and Technology among innovative enterprises of scale and above with scientific and technological strength in the provincial relevant industry and field, aiming at building an important scientific research platform with enterprise as the main body, market-oriented, and deep integration of technology innovation system between industry, academia, research and application.

As one of the earliest private chip design company in China, Cmsemicon has been established for 20 years, insisting on independent innovation, constantly breaking through and expanding its research and development capability. It has become a platform-like chip design enterprise with MCU as the core. The company's leading MCU core team has more than 15 years of MCU industry experience and technology accumulation, and has led the design and mass production of a number of automotive chips, with rich experience in the development of automotive chips. This recognition is a confirmation of the company's status and capacity and a high expectation for the company. 

The company has now established a chip reliability evaluation laboratory, which can meet the requirements of AEC-Q100 and test the automotive-grade chips. It has also already produced a number of automotive-grade MCU products and is about to complete the AEC-Q100 Grade1 automotive-grade reliability test. 

In the future, in accordance with the requirements of the provincial science and technology department, the company will attach more importance upon the automotive-grade chip, further increase the R&D investment and hardware and software construction of the automotive grade chip, in an effort to strengthen technical research and cooperation, accelerate the commercialization of technological achievements and cultivate talents, by which jointly build a benign, ecological balanced development of China's automotive industry.
