Recently, China Micro Semicon Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Cmsemicon, stock code: 688380) announced the expansion of its automotive-grade SoC chip product line with the launch of the new BAT32A6700. This product integrates MCU+LDO+LIN transceiver and incorporates a CAN controller, offering a QFN48 package. It is a highly cost-effective automotive-grade chip suitable for LIN communication applications in the vehicle body control domain, including panel switches, sunroofs, seats, tail lights, sensors, and miniature motors.
The BAT32A6700 is based on the Arm Cortex®-M0+ core, operating at 48MHz with 128KB Flash, 12KB SRAM, and 1.5KB D-Flash. It integrates the LDO, LIN transceiver, and CAN controller into a single-chip solution, facilitating information and resource sharing among various modules in vehicles through different communication methods. This integration aims to simplify board layout, reduce peripheral component count, enhance system reliability and maintainability, and better coordinate control systems.
With high flexibility, simple scalability and excellent noise immunity, the BAT32A6700 can simplify the design of actuators in the body domain, auxiliary driving domain, etc., and will be widely used in automotive control systems in the future.
