Recently, China Micro Semicon Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Cmsemicon, stock code: 688380) announced the launch of the high-precision measurement chip CMS8H341x series SoC. This series of SoCs features a built-in 24-bit Sigma-Delta ADC, a Bio-Impedance Measurement (BIM) module, LCD & LED drivers, and utilizes bioelectrical impedance analysis for rapid measurement of body fat, heart rate, and highly accurate body weight, meeting diverse needs for smart body fat scale development.

The CMS8H341x series SoC includes two models, CMS8H3415 and CMS8H3416, utilizing RISC architecture with a 24MHz clock frequency and ±2% high-precision internal oscillators. It integrates an internal BIM bio-impedance measurement module, a 24-bit high-precision ADC with effective resolution up to 20 bits, supports both LCD & LED display drivers, USART and SPI communication interfaces, 4-electrode multi-frequency measurement, OTA upgrades, significantly enhancing accuracy for precise body fat and resting heart rate measurement, suitable for applications such as 4-electrode AC impedance body fat scales and body fat analyzers.
