The 2019 China Development Forum Symposium, directed by the Development Research Center of the State Council and hosted by the China Development Research Foundation, was held on September 6-7. With the theme of "Trade, Openness and Shared Prosperity", the symposium continues to adhere to the tenet of "Talk with the World, Seek Common Development", providing an open and practical dialogue platform for senior leaders of the Chinese government, global business leaders, international organizations and Chinese and foreign scholars.

Mr. Miao Xiaoyu, Vice General Manager and Technical Director of CMSemicon, attended and exchanged views with nearly 900 representatives from the global political, business and academic fields. The participants hold that in the context of economic and trade friction between China and the United States, the global innovation cooperation system requires joint efforts of all countries to focus on technological innovation and build a good environment for innovation cooperation. And China from top to bottom, from various government departments to enterprises, have been firmly determined to develop the semiconductor industry independently in China.

In response to how to build an environment for innovation cooperation in the current situation, Fan Gang, president of the China Institute of Comprehensive Development in Shenzhen, said that "Efforts should be made from various aspects, that is to say, government, enterprises and the private sector, should jointly promote the development of cooperation."
