With the increasing popularity of 5G, there is a growing demand for optical data transmission in the market. There is a need for smaller size, lower cost solutions that can also maintain low power consumption and high reliability. Cmsemicon specializes in the design of 8-bit and 32-bit MCUs, SoCs, ASICs, and other chips. In response to the needs of 5G infrastructure construction and the data market, Cmsemicon has launched the industrial-grade BAT32G113 to meet various transmission rates and application scenarios for optical data.

The BAT32G113 is suitable for optical module applications and offers advantageous performance. Compared to traditional solutions, this series features high integration, lower power consumption, and smaller size, which helps simplify and accelerate the design of optical module systems.

The BAT32G113 is based on the Arm Cortex®-M0+ core, operating at a frequency of 64MHz, with 32KB flash memory, 4KB SRAM, and a wide operating voltage range of 2.0~5.5V. It integrates a A/D converter, a D/A converter, a temperature sensor, a comparator, and an operational amplifier (PGA). It supports multiple standard interfaces such as I2C, SPI, and UART, and has a built-in hardware multiplier/divider. The chip operates at temperatures ranging from -40℃ to 125℃.

The BAT32G113 integrates abundant on-chip resources, including a built-in 12-bit ADC with a sampling rate of 1.42Msps, 10 external multiplexed channels, 3 internal channels connected to PGA, an internal temperature sensor, and an internal reference voltage. The BAT32G113 supports slave dual-address IIC, which can be used for both the externally connected I2C auxiliary interface and communication with the analog front end, supporting the sophisticated analog performance required by optical module developers.

The BAT32G113 also includes 2 channels of 12-bit DAC output, eliminating the need for external DAC modules. In addition to applications in optoelectronic conversion modules and optical fiber network modules, the QFN24 and QFN32 small packages, with dimensions of only 3mmx3mm, are also well-suited for use in sensors, precision instruments, industrial control equipment and intelligent sensing automation systems.
