[Honor] Cmsemicon’s Bluetooth 5.0 SoC Wins "China IoT Technology Innovation Award of the Year 2021"

On December 10th, 2021 8th China IoT Conference was successfully concluded in Shenzhen. In the 6th China IoT Innovation Award selection happening at the same time, Cmsemicon ’s low-power bluetooth 5.0 SoC BAT32WB35 was awarded "China IoT Technology Innovation Award of the Year 2021" for its ultra-low power consumption, high speed, long range and usability .

BAT32WB35 supports Bluetooth 5.0 certification

The BAT32WB35 is a low-power Bluetooth SoC that supports Bluetooth 5.0 certification, easily interfaced with smartphones, tablets PC and laptops, supports high-speed data transmission, and is suitable for IoT data acquisition, processing and remote control, providing developers with a convenient way to implement IoT low-power wireless interface.

 

BAT32WB35 is based on ARM® Cortex®-M0+ core of ultra-low power consumption with 64MHz main frequency, 64KB Flash, built-in 8KB SRAM, 1KB Data Flash, and integrated BLE 5.0 Bluetooth function, which can provide convenient options for device networking. The BAT32WB35 has a voltage range of 1.8-3.6V and a temperature range of -40 to 85°C. It streamlines the design of the hardware structure, reduces the cost of the product, and enables developers to develop embedded Bluetooth more easily and quickly, by which the development cycle will be shortened.

 

Ultra-low power consumption and high sensitivity

In terms of power control, the BAT32WB35 has a super power-saving standby mode and can be freely switched between multiple power-saving modes, with a standby mode current of only 1µA to meet the needs of low-power applications. The BAT32WB35 is battery-powered, and an coin cell battery usually can last for over a year.

 

BAT32WB35 is integrated with excellent performance RF transceiver, supporting 2Mbps high-speed mode. With a high sensitivity, it can receive sensitivity up to -94dBm @1Mbps mode. The radiated power is up to +5dBm, and transmission distance can reach 80 meters. BAT32WB35 also provides abundant peripherals, such as 12bit high-speed ADC, PWM, comparator, RTC, DMA, I2C, SPI, UART, LIN, IrDA and other multi-way communication interfaces, built-in temperature sensor, hardware multiplier, hardware CRC check, and its safety performance conforms to IEC/UL 60730 standards.
