CMS32L051 is a 32-bit general low-power MCU based on the Cortex®-M0+ core, covering a wide range of applications and offering high cost performance.

Based on the Cortex®-M0+ core, the CMS32L051 series reaches a perfect balance of performance, cost and reliability, and is a remarkable innovation of Cmsemicon’s existing 32-bit MCU portfolio. It is designed to meet the demanding power requirements of increasingly complex smart devices and growing processing and memory needs. With a 32-bit multiplier, 64K Flash and 8K SRAM, as well as 1.5K specialized Data Flash space, powerful processing performance and larger storage options, the CMS32L051 will increasingly play an important role in consumer electronics, communication devices, home appliances, power management, industrial control and other fields.

CMS32L051 series supports 1.8~5.5V ultra-wide operating voltage range, meets the industrial-grade operating temperature of -40℃~105℃ and  performance requirements of high noise immunity, support up to 45 general purpose GPIOs. Its most digital functions support free mapping, great development flexibility with powerful cores, which is beneficial for improving overall system efficiency and achieving low standby power consumption. The power-down mode current is as low as 5uA.

Cmsemicon also integrates a rich set of on-chip peripheral resources into CMS32L051, including:

> eight general-purpose 16-bit timers, one 15-bit low-power timer

> 1 general-purpose serial unit, supporting up to 3 UARTs, 6 simple SPI or I2C interfaces

> 1 high-speed SPI and 1 standard I2C interface

> 1 12-bit ADC module supporting up to 35 channels with internal 1.45V reference voltage

> 1 enhanced DMA module supporting up to 24 channels with multiple transfer modes

In addition, the CMS32L051 series is equipped with advanced security features, built-in flash CRC operation, SFR protection function, RAM parity check and many other security features, and complies with IEC/UL 60730 related standards. Owing to the ARM Cortex®-M0+ general-purpose core architecture, the CMS32L051 series supports mainstream development platforms such as Keil, IAR, and GCC, which will further accelerates product development. The CMS32L051 series provides a variety of packages including TSSOP20, LQFP32, QFN32, QFN40, and LQFP48, in order to meet the needs of various applications.

The CMS32L051 is currently applying for PIC prototype and development board, and will be available in volume in January 2022. Other product models of CMS32L051 series are expected to be released next year.
