【Event Review】Online Seminar on Analysis of Domestic High-Performance Motor Control Solutions

Mr. Chengbao Zhong, Director of Application Department of CMSemicon, recently delivered a speech on "Analysis of Domestic High-Performance Motor Control Solutions", sharing the full range of CMSemicon's high-performance mass production motor control SoCs that have covered multiple types of motor applications.


CMSemicon has launched a high-performance full series of motor-specific MCUs in accordance with the tendency of motor control application becoming more highly integrated, highly-efficient and lowly-noisy. The wide product line has covered the applications of permanent magnet synchronous motor, DC brushless motor, brush motor and stepper motor.

Advantages of CMS32M57xx Series

- ARM Cortex-M0 core, 64MHz main frequency, 2.1V ~ 5.5V operating voltage, -40℃ ~ 105℃ operating temperature.

- Enhanced PWM pins with remapping function, arbitrary allocation of PWM port line in the face of any driver chip, with wave-by-wave current limit function which can achieve constant current control and more flexibility in the processing of motor overcurrent protection.

- Enhanced PWM has rich loading and interrupt modes, which can realize the application of higher carrier frequency.

- Enhanced PWM module supports asymmetric output, and any edge can trigger ADC conversion, easily realize single-resistance sampling.

- Bandwidth gain product height of op-amp up to 10MHz for easy handling of motor phase current signals; voltage swing up to 10V/us for timely response to abrupt overcurrent signals.

- 2 ADC modules, high-speed ADC for motor control signal acquisition and low-speed ADC for system control signal acquisition. The two modules can run in parallel without intervening with each other
