HK), a global, leading pure-play foundry with specialty process, with China's leading MCU company, China Micro Semicon Co., Ltd(hereinafter,  Cmsemicon), recently held a product delivery ceremony to celebrate the mass production of 90nm eFlash MCU, 90nm BCD motor driver, 55nm eFlash MCU and other products in Hua Hong's 12-inch production line in Plant 7. This marks that the cooperation between Hua Hong Semiconductor and Cmsemicon has stepped into a new stage. The attendees are Mr. Zhang Suxin, the Secretary of the Company’s CPC Committee and the Chariman of the Board of Hua Hong Group, Mr. Wang Jing, Deputy Secretary of the Company’s CPC Committeeand President of Hua Hong Group, Mr. Tang Junjun, the President and Executive Director of Hua Hong, and Mr. Zhou Yan, the General Manager of Cmsemicon.

Hua Hong has successfully expanded its three proprietary process platforms---- embedded non-volatile memory (eNVM), power management integrated circuit(PMIC) and power discrete-----from 8 inches to 12 inches. The 90nm and 55nm eFlash process platform adopt independently invented NORD-Flash technology with low power consumption, high reliability and small IP area, which has been recognized and highly evaluated by many customers both at home and abroad. Hua Hong's 90nm BCD process has better electrical parameters. Besides, benefiting from the stability of the 12-inch process with excellent yields, it provides a more competitive manufacturing solution for chip applications such as motor drivers, digital power supplies, and digital audio amplifiers. Its products of Power Discrete series have been validated for automotive grade products at 12 inches, and all electrical parameters remain excellent.

Cmsemicon is one of the long-term customers of Hua Hong for MCU and power management, and is also the first customer for the new 12-inch 55nm eFlash process platform. The two companies have a 16-year history of cooperation and have mass production in all nodes of Hua Hong’s eFlash and BCD processes.
