In this summit, many MCU companies expressed that due to the epidemic, the instability of international supply highlights the advantages of domestic MCU companies in terms of delivery time, R&D support and after-sales service. The fast and flexible local service capability has also created strong cooperation stickiness for domestic customers.

In terms of demand trends, the market demand for 32-bit MCU products is gradually increasing, and low power consumption, high reliability and high integration will be the main development tendency of MCU in the future.

In the keynote speech of the summit, Mr. Zhong Chengbao, the Director of Application Department of CMSemicon, delivered a speech, in which he explained how CMSemicon's different mixed-signal SoC application solution examples help developers to develop quickly, and also talked about the six new trends of mixed-signal SoC design and CMSemicon's new layout in various fields such as motor control, high-precision measurement, BMS, IoT, consumer and induction heating.

The oximeter solution based on the reinforced 8051 core SoC CMS8S6990 can reduce the BOM cost up to more than 30% by effectively simplifying the peripheral circuits with built-in two-way operational amplifiers and can quickly help developers add additional value-added features and realize greater design potential in order to design smaller, more compact and reliable electronics.

CMSemicon also offers a powerful series of motor control SoCs with a comprehensive product portfolio to significantly reduce power consumption, size, weight and noise in applications such as floor fans, circulating fans, high-speed chordal vacuum cleaners, power tools, garden tools, lithium-ion protection, balance bikes/electric bicycles, and white goods, covering a wide range of motor applications such as permanent magnet synchronous motors, brushless DC motors, brushed motors and stepper motors.

After the keynote speech, many experts in the field had communication with Mr. Zhong on the future development of MCU. Mr. Zhong said, "Technology R&D capability is always the core for MCU companies to compete in the market. CMSemicon will use its self-developed core technology, with the high-end leadership of Singapore's analog design team, to build a scalable core platform for the whole industry chain of motor, power and Li-ion protection SoC."
